Janet Perko Obituary

Janet Lucille Perko, 80, formerly of Sarver, went home to be with Jesus on the morning of June 10 at the Austinwoods Nursing Center, Austintown, Ohio.
There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Christ Is The Answer Campground, 450 Westminster Road, Sarver.
Janet was born Nov. 6, 1934, in Beaver, Pa., the daughter of Grace Patterson.
Janet worked at Du-Co Ceramics as a press operator for many years before retiring.
She was a very active member of Christ Is The Answer Church in Cabot.
She leaves two sons, James (Fe) Kane of Golden, Colo., and Robert Perko Jr. of Columbus, Ohio; two twin daughters, Deborah (Paul) Pompura of Austintown, Ohio, and Denise (Dave) Bortmas of Niles, Ohio; one sister, Bette (Fred) Inman of Mouth of Wilson, Va.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Janet also leaves many good friends, who she loved very much.
PERKO - Janet L. Perko, who died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, was laid to rest June 12 at the Niles City Cemetery, Niles, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions or donations may be sent to the Christ Is The Answer Church, Cabot, Pa.

Janet was a friend of my mother's that would go out of her way to make sure anyone that wanted to know about Jesus had a way with her little red van Joshua she would sacrifice her time and money every opportunity she had. If anyone ever made it to heaven it was this lady. God bless you

I worked with Janet at Du-Co also. She always seemed so happy, always smiling. I remember her selling hoagies for the church. She will be sadly missed by alot of people that knew her.
