Kim Graham Obituary

Kim Louise Graham SUMMERVILLE - Kim Louise Graham, 59, of Summerville, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017, at her residence. Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Avenue, Summerville, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at 11 o'clock. Burial will be at a later date in Roxbury Cemetery, Stamford, CT, near her grandparents, great-grandmother and cousins. Burial will be Private. Kim was born June 24, 1957, in Stamford Hospital, Stamford, CT, daughter of Donald P. and Marion J. Wilmot Graham of Summerville. Kim graduated Valedictorian at Clay High School, South Bend, IN, in 1975. She was designated as a Hoosier Scholar and graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 1979 with a degree in Industrial Engineering while working for General Motors as a co-op student. Kim worked for GM with Buick, Cadillac, Pontiac and EDS for 25 years before retiring on disability. Kim was diagnosed with MS in 1980 and was a supporter of the MS Society. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to National MS Society, 3101 Industrial Drive, Ste. 210, Raleigh, NC 27609 or a charity of one's choice. Survivors including her parents Donald and Marion are: five brothers: Dennis Graham (Debbie) of Greenfield, IN, Greg Graham (Tony) of Grant, FL, David Graham (Vickie) of Florence, SC, Brian Graham (Veronica) of Summerville, Patrick Graham (Kathleen) of Summerville and numerous nieces and nephews. R.I.P. Kim, you will be greatly missed by your friends from the MS Summerville support group. You added sunshine to each meeting. Always smiling and lifting others. I know your dancing in heaven.
