Jim was not only a co-worker at Duke Energy, but he was our neighbor for many years in our neighborhood in Charlotte. A very quiet individual, but very conversant and loved the neighbors. We shared many conversations with Jim in the back-yard. Barney was a part of the family and I can still hear his moaning bark. Jim will be missed. Our condolences to Jeff and the family.

My Uncle Boat had a dry sense of humor and a great laugh, but little creativity when it came to naming his dogs (Barney for all of them.) Condolences to Jeff, Jeffrey, Gloria and my mom. We will all miss him.

He was my only sibling and we were close. He loved his family and my children as well. We were close. Animals were also very special to him. He was a student of the Bible and knew it well. There will be a big hole in my life but I know you are in heaven with our family that went before us. See you again someday.
