Norine and Family,
Was just notified of Chester's passing.
Our most heartfelt condolences go out to your entire family. We remember Chester as a clever and fun loving man. My memories of Chester go back to the 50's when he and my brother were sitting at our kitchen table having my mother's home cooked meal. Fast forward three decades we find Chester as one of the most influential labor leaders with inside the International Typographical Union and his home local, Chicago Typographical Union No. 16. Chester improved the working lives of hundreds of Chicagoland printers. He will be greatly missed by all his Union Brothers and Sisters. Fondly, Steve & Molly Berman

Dear Cocozza Family -- I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Chet at the Tribune for a dozen years or more, and was a regular golf partner with him and the late John Blais at Salt Creek -- his affection for playing nine holes existed up north too. Please accept my condolences. -- Mike Esposito

I worked with Chester at the Tribune for several years. He was a great mentor and always had a smile on his face and a great story to tell. He will be missed by many. God Bless him and his family.

He alone was responsible for starting the men s 9 hole league against some opposition I love him telling the story basing it on his strong union & labour background in Chicago
For those of us new into golf &/or not very good yet, the 9 hole league is great
thanks Chester
