Des Moines
Robert "Bob" Voshell, 84, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014.
The family will greet friends Monday, July 14, 2014, beginning at 12:30 p.m. with the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Southtown Pentecostal Assembly, 510 E. Rose Ave. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Bob was born August 12, 1929 in Des Moines to Clifton and Irene Voshell. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Bob was a dedicated restaurant manager for over 35 years at Moran's Cafeteria. He and his late wife Dee traveled the country teaching dance, camping and making friends from shore to shore. Bob enjoyed pitching horseshoes with his friends.
Bob is survived by his sons, Terry (Joan), Rick and Mike (Carla); grandchildren, Shane, Melissa (Ross), Burgess and Madison; great-grandchild, Aurora; brothers, LeRoy (Barb) and David (Linda) and a host of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 58 years, Dee.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers today and Uncle Bob and Aunt Dee always in my heart. Mom has a beautiful picture of them by her bedside and we look at it often and think of their wonderful relationship and our great memories with them.
