TERESA LUNA

LUNA Teresa Luna was born April 23, 1927 and called by our Lord to receive her Angel Wings on September 14, 2012. She was preceded in death by her sons, Raul (Jr.) and Armando, her grandson, Joshua and her son-in-law, Jacobo. She is survived by her husband, Raul of 72 years, her daughters, Terry Gomez, Linda Luna, Yolanda Recovo, Sylvia Ledesma, Alicia Munoz and her son Francisco Luna. She has 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, many family members and friends. Teresa was an amazingly strong woman with a loving protective heart for her family and a feisty nature. Had a love of music and dancing. She is remembered for her delicious cooking, especially her Gorditas and her Lemon Meringue Pie. Sincere thanks extended to the Bustamante family for all the years of caring and watching over our parents. Special thanks to the staff at Center for Compassionate Care West Hospice El Paso for being so caring and attentive. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Little Flower Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Francisco and Danny Luna, David Gomez, Jacob Ledesma III, Raymond and Robert Munoz, Austin Zanker, and Daniel Moreno. Rite of Committal at Evergreen East Cemetery.
