If the government forgot to thank you, know that generations after will. If not for brave and persistent men such as he, we would not have our freedoms and generations may have been wiped out. That kind of contribution is hard to repay. Bless you all.

God bless you for your service, Mr. Moton. My father was only a few miles from you on that fateful day in 1941 (Wheeler Field). You answered the call, of yourself gave your all, and now. a part of America has died. RIP sailor! Our deepest condolences to the Moton family. Thank you for our freedom Mr. Moton.

Mr. Moton Thank you for paving the way for all Americians. God has the record, and there's no deeds left unnoticed. I feel that once you crossed over the Lord smiled, and said, "here comes my child John!" Family may God's Grace and Mercy be with you in these difficult days. There's joy knowing your family member has lived a life which is pleasing to God. Be blessed and keep memories close to your heart. You had a blessing in your presence for over 90 years!
