Services: A memorial service will be held on September 18, 2012, at 10am at The Rosewood Funeral Home, 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Houston Hospice, 5206 FM 1960 West, Suite 104, Houston, TX 77069.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Deb, Richard,and Vickie, He is at peace. Remember that hearty laugh, his beautiful smile, his sense of humor and his love of life. He was well educated, took great pride in his children and grand children, and was always willing to help others. I thank him for always taking care of his little brother. Deb, I have no words to say how much it saddens us to hear about Gery's death and your family's loss. Gerry's quiet strength and support, I know will be missed. When our children married and he gave such a heartfelt speech at the groom's dinner, it gave me a glimpse of his depth. Although, often quiet and purposeful, there was obviously an intensity within, which he shared when it matter most to him. He will be missed. Take care and let us know if we can help in any way.

Aunt Deb, Vicky, Richard, and family,
I was so very saddened to hear the news of Uncle Gery's passing. The years have gone by very quickly but please take comfort in the lasting wonderful memories of his life with you. Uncle Gery enjoyed life and if I close my eyes and listen real hard I can still hear his laughter. In time, remember those moments and try to find some peace in them. You are in my prayers everynight.

Aunt Deb and Family;
I am sorry for your loss. I believe it was not coincidence that we had a mini-family reunion in July. I will most remember my Uncle for his calm demeanor, his quiet humor, and his passionate spirit when he needed to make a point. I appreciated his work ethic and commitment to the sanctity of marriage and family. I am always grateful to you opening your home to my father. And, I always enjoyed his stories of boarding the ships visiting from Russia while working at Rayonier.
