Hi, I knew Jared and Jadyn from elementary and my sister grew up with Chase in middle school and high school. I never thought that this family would go through something as tragic but I guess things happen for a reason..... I will keep the family in my prayers

Until i met joel about 6yrs ago i thought i was the proudest dad and coolest.i would sit by him and we would talk about our kids, and through the yrs i can say joel was a very proud daddy one who never stopped talking about his kids and he was super cool.and what i really enjoyed is he did not refer to his wife as carolyn but as sweetheart,he was an awesome guy.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. We have known the DeWitte family for 6 years because our boys played baseball together. Joel has been around so many children and has helped out with baseball since I have known him. He will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy for Dewitte family.

I have known Joel for about 28 years, he was a wonderful friend, person and all around kind of guy. I will miss him dearly. He has always been there through out my life and it will hard not to see him everywhere I go..... He always had a way to make me laugh even back when I was 15..... Will love always and miss him..... Your family is in our prayers...I lived across the way from Darryl Edwards and as young girl I remember all the guys hanging out at Joel's car and jammin' to the radio and being oh so cool!!! Those were the days....

My memories of Joel Dewitt will always be of a very cute boy with long blond hair always in his big blue eyes , riding his bike 100 miles an hour down to the woods in Timbergrove to play with Chris Sacco.
