Cora Marie Raybourn Hollifield Larew

Was born July 20, 1939 in Pocahontas, Arkansas to the late Wesley and Imogene Raybourn and went to be with Jesus unexpectedly February 26, 2015 with her family at her side. Marie was a 1957 graduate from Noblesville High School.  She lived most of her life in Indianapolis with husband William Hollifield Sr. where they raised their children and later in Brownsburg, IN after retiring from Alpha Chi National Headquarters Indianapolis.  She enjoyed her hobbies of sewing and taking care of her flower garden.  She was a member of Speedway Baptist Church where she and her husband raised their children.  She is preceded in death by her first husband William P. Hollifield Sr. in 2002 and her second husband Rex Larew in 2011, parents Wesley and Imogene Raybourn and an infant brother Doyle.  She is survived by her children Deborah Hollifield (Ed) Bell, William P. Hollifield Jr., and Connie Hollifield (Robert) Smerdel; stepson Dr. Michael Hollifield; grandchildren Greg Smerdel, Jacob (Caitlin) Smerdel, Jennifer Smerdel, Nellie Bell (Lucas) Mitchell, Wesley Hollifield, Hanna Hollifield, Sierra Hollifield, Zoe Hollifield; five nieces and four nephews; sisters Sharon (Jerry) Gorup and Wilma Finck; stepchildren Scott Larew, Lynette Larew, and Courtney (Alex) Baldwin; step grandchildren Kailey and Eli.  Calling will be from 5-8 p.m. Thurs. March 5 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Fri. March 6 at Speedway Baptist Church, 2986 Moller Rd., Speedway, IN 46224, with calling one hour prior.  Contributions can be made to Speedway Baptist Church Children's Ministry or New Castle First Baptist Church Missions.  Online guestbook at www.matthewsmortuary.com
