MICHAEL MCPHERON
LIMA — Michael P. McPheron, age 66, passed away January 22, 2015, at 6:48 am at the Springview Manor Nursing Home.
Michael was born September 5, 1948 in Lima, OH, to Wesley and Ruth (Gossard) McPheron who preceded him in death. On July 24, 2000 he married Poleena (Mattox) McPheron who survives in Lima.
Michael was a 1966 graduate of the Lima Senior High School. He had worked for 16 years as a custodian with the Wapakoneta City Schools from which he retired in 2012. Michael was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting and enjoying the outdoors. He most of all loved spending time with his family.
Michael is survived a Son, Jeremiah R. Burr of Ft. Wayne, IN, a Brother, John (Marilyn) McPheron of Lima, OH, and 3 Sisters; Marilyn (Frank) Selvaggio of Lima, OH, Dorothy (Lynn) Lehman of Lima, OH, and Sue (Richard) Bruns of Columbus, OH.
There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Foundation or the St. Rita's Hospice.
