Marie Tetreault Obituary

Marie Cecile (Pelletier) Tetreault, 91, of Felix St., died peacefully on March 31 at Loomis House. Born in St. Pamphile, Canada, October 12, 1923, she was raised there. She has lived in Chicopee for 33 years. A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in South Hadley and St. Rose in Aldenville. Cecile was a very active member of the South Hadley Senior Center for the past 15 years. Her beloved husband Henry predeceased her in 1987. She is survived by a sister Berangere Pelletier of Canada, along with her nephew Donald and his wife Christine Champigny with whom she lived. She also leaves many other nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be Monday, April 6, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St., (Rte. 116). Her Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
