Jim and I worked together for several years at PPL. He was a great friend and co worker. Always had a smile and a great sense of humor. He had a great intellect and could truly appreciate the irony of some of the inanities we experienced dealing with requlatory requirements and internal company reorganizations. Outside of work we young nukes had some good times and parties with our coworkers and spouses. I think of those days often in my retirement and smile. It is sad that Jim did not get to enjoy a long retirement and I am sure that Maggie , family and friends miss him greatly.

I knew Jim when I worked at PPL in the late 1980s and early 1990's. He and his family lived down the street from me at the time. He was a true gentleman, had a terrific sense of humor and I was gald to know him. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dear Maggie and Family - Our hearts are breaking over your loss. The beautiful tributes must give you great comfort to know how many lives Jim touched and how much he is loved. When Doug joined PPL he was thrilled to re-connect with Jim. Their 'Delts' lunches were very special, sharing many memories of those carefree days in Troy, NY. We share your sadness. Be strong for each other and remember all of the happy times.

Maggie, Mike, and Sarah,

We are so sorry for the loss of Jim. What a tremendous loss for humanity as a whole. Jim was one of the kindest, sweetest, and most caring people any of us knew, and our lives were enriched by having him in them. We love you all and are here for anything that you may need in the coming days, weeks, months, and years. Keep Jim's memory alive in the fun things he enjoyed doing and you will find that he will be sending you 'cosmic winks' to let you know that he's ok and he loves you.

Our Deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to the Minneman family on your loss. I had the privilege of working with Jim in PPLS, and what I remember most about him was his cheer-leading leadership ability. Jim had a brilliant attitude about things, and it was such a pleasure to work with him. He was such a genuinely good soul. I can't even begin to imagine what you all are feeling, and my family will keep you in prayer. Wishing you fond memories.

Maggie, Mike, Sarah and family,

We are so very sorry and saddened to hear of Jim''s passing. Even upon learning and knowing of Jim''s illness, it still seems so surreal and it saddens us greatly - as
it surely does for a countless amount of people. It is most especially difficult, we are sure, that Maggie's mom passed away so soon afterward. Our hearts are breaking for you as you deal with both losses at the same time.

We shared so many wonderful and memorable times with your family since the 80's. Whether it be our ski trips, tubing, learning to snowboard, air shows, home gatherings and parties etc. We always had fun and great times ! Jim was such an active and outgoing guy in all aspects of his life. My dad and I were especially honored when he shared and welcomed us into the Asbury community when we became members.
Den and I can also remember from years ago the beginnings of your wine tastings and of course sharing the fun at mutual friends' parties. We had lots of laughs and unforgettable experiences !

Your losses are great, but know now though that Jim is no longer in pain, is probably sipping some wine, listening to music, maybe even taking a ski run down a mountain and hiking up another. And your mom now has her memory in tact again.

Remember, they are never really gone, they live in the many beautiful memories and our hearts - always and forever. Be assured you now have both of them as 2 angels watching over you !

We are here if you need us - anytime ! Again our deepest condolences and sympathies. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all always !

Love and hugs, Lynn and Denis

I have an out of town family commitment this weekend, but please know you and your children are in my thoughts and prayers. Jan Spadaro

Maggie and family,
Jan and I are shocked and saddened to hear about Jim's death. I remember having many fun times playing softball with Jim in the PPL league. He was one of the reasons we got an Airedale puppy (Chloe). We loved seeing Astrid and Jim play. At work, anytime I would see him, he would greet me with a friendly smile and share something positive. He was an utmost professional, always kind, and a great example for us to live by. We will surely miss him. Our hearts and prayers go out to you.

Jim was a great friend, mentor and Fraternal Big Brother as I wandered into RPI and Delts over 40 years ago. I feel fortunate that we were able to catch up over dinner in the Troy area a few years back. I am saddened that we will no longer be able to greet each other as brothers.

My condolences to Maggie and the entire family for your loss, and my wish is that your memories will be of a full life, well lived.
