Frank Shaver

Shaver, Frank Martin, 84, a resident of Montgomery, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. Mr. Shaver served in the U. S. Navy and was a graduate of Lanier High School and the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering. He was a founding partner of the engineering firm Shaver and Zgouvas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin L. and Sara Brock Shaver, his brother, Frederick Thomas Shaver and his sister, Catherine Shaver. He is survived by his wife, Frances H. Shaver; his children, Sarabeth (Slay) Stevens, Daniel (Heather) Shaver, Thomas (Pam) Shaver and Martin Shaver; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Dalraida Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with burial following at Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 p.m. prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Randy Braden, Harold Cox, Bob Madison, Pete Moore, Ken Nummy and Mike Taylor.
