I am so sorry to hear the news of his passing. He was my religion teacher in Holy Family and his italian origins were the same as mine. Also his brother was a great friend of my dad. May he rest in peace. Lori Collini

I will always be grateful for Fr. Robert's friendship and his priestly witness among God's people. He has been a faithful, joyful, holy, priest!
How blessed I was to know and experience his goodness firsthand!

There are no words to express my feelings upon hearing of Fr. Cozzini's passing. He was truly the finest person I have ever known. I heard from him not long ago and although I've known he was ill he would always call and we would have a few good laughs throughout our conversations. He helped me through some difficult times and I will be forever thankful that I can call him my friend. My deepest sympathy to his family,he spoke of you all the time. I'll cherish our conversations forever. May he rest in peace. He was an angel, here on earth, and now Heaven has our angel. Forever in my heart.....

My family and I were so blessed to have you at Epiphany Parish in Cliffside Park New jersey. You married myself and all 3 of my older sisters. Right before I was married my Grandmother passed away and I was so saddened that she wouldn't be with my family on that day. We spoke the night before my wedding and you reassured me that she was going to be right next to me while my husband and I pledged our love to one another. You will always be in our hearts rest in peace and thank you for being a part of my life.

I can't tell you how sad I felt when I was told of Fr. Cozzini's passing. He was a remarkable person and the most wonderful priest. I have to share an experience I had. He was my mom's confessor for years and when she was on her death bed she was being so hard on her self in the religous aspect. I immediately called Fr. Cozzini and asked him if he could come to visit her and he told me he really wasn't feeling well himself and I truly understood. But being the compassionate person he was, he managed to cme to the hospital and put and end to my mom's fears allowing her to die in peace. I will never forget it. He will be truly missed but I know he will be welcomed home not only by our Lord but also by all the people he has helped. Fr. Cozzini, rest in peace and you will never be forgotten.

Will always remember Fr. Cozzini as our spiritual leader from CYAC at Holy Family in Nutley. Father was always there for us, and a source of comfort, encouragement, and humor. He was a wonderful man - and he will be missed. God bless, and our sympathies to his family.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
