Beverly Brown Obituary
Beverly graduated from Alliance College in 1967 and attended Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with a medical degree in 1971. Dr. Bev began her own general family practice in 1974. She was a deeply caring practitioner who was loved and greatly respected by her patients. Aside from her medical profession, Dr. Bev was an amazing athlete. She loved to golf and had belonged to both Valley Country and Foster Country Clubs. She was a phenomenal tennis player and a member of West Bay Tennis Club. In addition, Beverly was an outstanding marksman and a licensed pilot!
She is survived by her brother James P. Brown and was the Aunt of Eric Brown, Amy Macha Brown and Kerry Brown; Great Aunt of Dean Brown, Caden Macha, and Madison Brow; sister-in-law of Beverly A. (McCarron) Brown all of whom live in West Warwick. She is survived by two step children: Brian Spavins and Jason Spavins and two step grandchildren.
Funeral gathering will take place at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI on Friday, March 18 at 8:45 AM followed with a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Of Czenstochowa, 445 Washington Street, Coventry, RI. The funeral will proceed to St. Mary's Cemetery in West Warwick, RI for burial. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906. Remembrances may be shared at carpenterjenks.com.

dr brown was my doctor for years when i lived in rhode island. she was a very good doctor . was thinking of her today. prayers for the family

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Beverly from Alliance College. We were on the Rifle Team together and were co-captains. Bev was always very active and in the dorm had her own ice crusher, she loved eating crushed ice. May she rest in peace now, and may you find peace.

I offer my sympathy to the family
Bsev and I were classmates at Alliance Collge I was a year ahead of her. We Both attended KCCOS. We had a lot of fun times including enjoying her specialty American chop suey for dinner There was quite bit of hijinks between the three friends. When Bev married Richard I was in her wedding. We had many good times together while in school . She was a very intelligent and caring person. She loved medicine golf and her family I will remembe are fun times in school her breakfast of champions a yodel and a coke ,her novels, the back hoe on her property She was such a fun person
May God give her eternal rest and a golf club in her hands
