Joshua Burlingame Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Joshua L. Burlingame on October 1, 2012 at the age of 15 in Kirkland, WA. Josh was born in Bellevue, WA on Nov. 22, 1996. He was the beloved son of Devon (Duff) Burlingame and Jason Burlingame and the cherished grandson of Ross and Valerie Duff and Janice Burlingame.
Joshua was a student at Juanita High School. He loved animals, music and his friends.
Joshua is survived by his uncles, aunts and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by all four of his great grandparents.
A celebration of Joshua's short life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the North Kirkland Community Center, 12421 103rd Avenue N.E., Kirkland WA 98034 from 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.

Another year has gone by missing you in our family. Eight years since we have seen your sweet face and heard your special giggle and felt your wonderful hugs. Hello Sweetheart,

Devon and Jason, we still feel the pain of losing Josh every single day. He is so greatly missed. I think of you both often, I wish I could do something to help. Our lives are forever changed without Josh. Kai and I know he is in heaven, and he is also still very much a part of our lives. Our thoughts are with you.

I never knew Josh but my friend Jimmy Locke has told me sooo many wonderful stories it brought tears to my eyes and made my heart ache for everyone and their ability to cope with such a huge loss. My love to all... but mostly peace, love and joy to Josh for leaving such wonderful memories to all those he loved and that loved him. Josh was a student of mine in 9th grade English. I am so saddened by his passing and my heart goes out to his parents in trying to understand and deal with this tragic situation. He was a sweet, lovely boy liked by all.
