Christine Marie Cox

Aug. 13, 1971 - Apr. 22, 2017

GRANGER - Christine Marie Cox, 45, died Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2017 near Berrien Springs, Michigan when the motorcycle she was on with her husband, David, collided with an automobile that turned in front of them, her husband David also died in that accident.

Christine was born on August 13, 1971, in Mishawaka to Steven A. and Marcia (Laws) Micinski. She was preceded in death by her sister, Michelle Micinski.

Christine and David were married June 14, 2008. She is survived by her children, Taylor, Morgan, Jordan and Camryn Pontzious; grandson, Jayden Baugher, all of Granger, IN; stepchildren, Morgan Sue Cox and Jack Harold Cox, both of Wapakoneta, OH; her parents, Steven and Marcia Micinski; brothers, Daniel (Trisha) Micinski and Keith (Angela) Micinski both of South Bend.

Christine was a graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend. She was a Nurse for 25 years working for River Oaks OBGYN in Elkhart. All who knew her were uplifted by her joyous spirit and infectious smile. She touched many people through her whole life personal and work. Her positive outlook will continue on through everyone's memory of her. She loved spending time with her children, grandson and family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 28 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wells Fargo in care of the children of Christine Cox. Benefit Memorial Fund.
