Marty will be sorely missed. While I have not seen him in many years, I was so looking forward to seeing my friend at our LaSalle HS 50th reunion this summer.
Marty was one of the founders of a male group named SWOOP at LaSalle. Wearing our sweatshirts to school got some of us suspended for a day. All good memories.
Marty and I used to hit Tower Hill often with several fine ladies our junior-senior year in High School. Oh, what fun we had.
My utmost sympathy to all family members.
Sincerely, Bruce Burkart

i Know Marty loved Spam!
When Studebaker's closed my family was on Govt assistance[free food] we had an over abundance of canned ham[Spam] in 28 oz or larger cans. My brother Jeffry and i would race to the lunch room to trade our inch thick Spam sandwich for Marty's thinner sandwich but was Eckrich store bought deli meat. Jeff & i Loved your Moms sandwiches !!!!
it has been fifty years since i last saw You, but i never forgot our friendship.
Lovee You ....Augie
