DOWAGIAC MICHIGAN - Patricia Ann DeFreeuw-Neddeau, 75, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away at Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 8, 1941 to Mary C. Buday-DeFreeuw and Frank J. DeFreeuw who both preceded her in death. Patricia attended Marquette Grade School, Mussell Junior High and Central High School in South Bend, Indiana. She moved to Granger with her parents in 1956 and went to Washington Clay and graduated from there in 1959. Patricia was an avid bowler at Regal Lanes and Jefferson Manor Lanes. She married in 1962, which ended in divorce several years later but had three boys during the marriage, Donald Neddeau, Dennis Neddeau and Douglas Neddeau. She has eight grandchildren and one great grandchild along with a brother, Terry DeFreeuw and several nieces and nephews. She lived in Edwardsburg from 1962-2011, then moved to Dowagiac, Michigan in 2011. She worked at Dairy Queen in Granger, Indiana from 1995-2002 and retired from there with health issues. She was a loving and caring person. May she rest in peace. Funeral services for Patricia will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, on Friday, November 11 at 1:00pm, where friends will be received from 4 until 7pm on Thursday and also one hour prior to the services on Friday. Burial will follow the services on Friday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Indiana. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the family to defray funeral costs.
