I will always remember Marvelene, she gave me a Beanie Baby Fleece Lamb, it is on my desk as a reminder of her.

As my big sister, Marvelene was the one to hold my hand in many different situations, I spent six weeks with her before she passed away and will cherish that time. She was wise and wonderful, we are really going to miss her.

My very best friend. I will miss her so much. Marvelene introduced me to genealogy many years ago and mentored me through all my learning years. We went on several trips to Salt Lake, Seattle, and any place we thought would teach us more about genealogy. After both our husbands passed we spent may hours filling the loss with genealogy projects. She will be missed by many.

Marvelene and I shared so many genealogy memories. She was a good friend to me and to EWGS (she was a past president). I have missed her big smile and glad she's gone to be busy in a happy place and I know I will see her again.

Marvelene was a very active member of EWGS, and enjoyed it most when she was able to help others learn about genealogy.
She and I took a long ride to Vancouver, WA for a conference, and we talked all the way there and back.
Marvelene, your journey is over and you are with your ancestors now. Peace be with you.

Marvelene was a good co-worker at Deac, a friendly neighbor
when we lived in the valley and a very good genealogist being the President of the Eastern WA Genealogy Society before moving to AZ. I always enjoyed her pleasant attitude and know her remaining family will miss that about her. A life well-lived.
