Harold Koelling Obituary
He was a professor of Chemical Engineering at Mississippi State University for 33 years.
He leaves behind a wife, Jeanette of Starkville. He also has four children: Ken, David, Kim and Daniel; three grandchildren: Brittany, Erica and Nicole; daughter-in-law Jean; and mother-in-law Delores Abbott. He also had two brothers: Jerry and Ray.
A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church on at 4 p.m. on February 12.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the First United Methodist Church of Starkville.

As I think back over the years, there are a few teachers that stand out for both what they taught and how they did it. Not just the classroom facts and figures, but about life and transitioning into the real world. Dr. Koelling was one of those. My deepest sympathies to the family.

We have so many wonderful memories of Dr. Koelling. He knew the art of conversation well, and we loved to hear the stories he would share. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Praying for comfort in this time of loss.
