Andrew S. "Pat" Vigier

Andrew (Pat) S. Vigier, Sr., age 88, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 10:45am. Born October 14, 1926 to the late Louis Hildebert Vigier and Leona Josephine Thoulion. Pat was surrounded by his loving family as he returned to be with the Lord. Resident of Harahan, LA for the past 52 years. Pat was the beloved husband of Kathryn (Betty) Brown Vigier who lovingly cared for him. Survived by three sons and four daughters: Yvette Benedetto (Danny), Andrew (Drew) S. Vigier, Jr., David L. Vigier (Margaret), Lisa Forrester (Leo), Mark E. Vigier, Donna Russo (Steve) and Christine Danna (Steve). He was the proud grandfather of Julie, Daniel, Jeremy, Alexis, Hillary, Brandon, Minden, Desmon, Patrick, Maureen, Luke and Caden and one great granddaughter, Riley. His greatest pleasure was spending time with his children and grandchildren. While Pat will be greatly missed by his family and friends, he left a lasting legacy and many cherished memories. Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 1908 Short Street in Kenner, LA on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Visitation at the church will be from 10:00 am until the Funeral Mass begins. Interment will be private at a later date.
