Harold Zellmer Obituary
Harold William Zellmer, age 90, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, at the Omro Care Center. He was born on March 21, 1924, in Princeton, a son of Otto and Lena (Kohnke) Zellmer. Harold was baptized on April 13, 1924, and confirmed on April 10, 1938, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Princeton. Harold was a farmer who worked for Reetz Farms of Princeton. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a faithful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church. As a member of the Men's Club of the church, he helped collect paper, aluminum, cardboard and played quite a bit of sheep head. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Lena Zellmer; brother, Harvey Zellmer.
A funeral service for Harold William Zellmer will take place on Thursday, December 11, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 W. Harvard St. in Princeton. Pastor Daniel Heiderich will officiate. Burial will follow the service at the Memory Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

Harold was my friend and part of my family. We
hunted,fished ,trapped,laughed,dined, and talked. And could Harold talk. He would give the time ,date, place,weather, who was there of what ever he thought of,such a wonderful man. So many good memories!RIP good friend, I miss you

Sorry to hear of Harold's passing. He was a great friend of my Dad, Hilbert Boesler, of Princeton. We as children will remember the great dinners we had over to his parents home and ice fishing with Harold on the Fox River with my Dad.

My Cousin Harold was a Gentle soul in spite of his seemingly rough edges. My brother and I spent many a "fun" time on "Taunte Lena's farm" with Harold & Brother Harvey. May he Rest in Peace. Cousin Walt & Wife Phyllis Ziemke. Neenah, Wi.
