In times like this God knows best, but everyone in the parish will miss you greatly. You were a wonderful spiritual leader of the community and were always there for everyone. You are now sitting in Heaven looking down on everyone and still watching over the parish. Rest in peace

A great man and leader, I am so saddeded to hear of your passing. You got me back into the church, married my wife and I and Baptized my daughter. You were not only my Priest, you were my friend and spiritual leader and our agency Chaplin. Thank You for bringing me back to God. I know you are with God and at peace but it still hurts to know I will have to wait to until I join you to see you again. Thank You for being there for my family and me and showing us the path back to God. Rest in Peace Sir. I will always feel blessed for having known you and the joyful memories of you.

I was saddened to learn of John's death while attending Mass with my Father at Asbury Nursing Home on Sunday. I was John's classmate at St. Pius X Seminary in the early 1970s and still recall fond memories of my time with him - a more loving and helping soul you will not meet. I'll ask John to say hello to my first wife, Molly and two unborn children, and will request his prayers for my family and me as we continue our journey through life.
May God hold you in his hands, my friend - Rest in Peace

RIP Msgr. You have gone to a place where those who lead the signing are not as half "crazy" as me and the habanero sauce is perfect.
