Annie Belle Brigman Lampley, 94, of Wallace, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Lampley was born Feb. 3, 1920 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Sandy Luther and Minnie Lee White Brigman. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she had been a Sunday school teacher and had worked with the GA's and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dargan "JD" Lampley; four brothers; and four sisters.
Surviving are her children, Judy (Darrell) Day of Hamlet, Sidney (Sue Ellen) Lampley of Monroe, Johnny (Frances) Lampley of Garner and Sue (Wayne) Cummings of Wallace, South Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will see friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the Cummings home in Wallace.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Perry Comer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
