Andrew Butler Obituary
SOMERSET: Andrew Lee Butler, 35, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his residence.
Andy was born September 4, 1980 in Newark, Ohio, the son of Linda and Marty Snider of Somerset and Jerry and Cindy Butler of Newark.
Andy is survived in addition to his parents by his maternal grandparents, Kathryn Householder and Larry W. Haines; one brother, Travis Butler; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a caring cremation. Memorial calling hours and service will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Somerset American Legion Post 58, 107 East Gay St., Somerset, Ohio, with Bucky Mowery to do the eulogy.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home at P.O. Box 188, Somerset, Ohio 43783 for expenses.

Shocked to hear that he's gone. I also worked with Andrew at WCLT from 2005 on. I can't believe he's gone. We both shared a passion for radio and broadcasting. I learned a lot from this guy. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Andrew! My best to his family! We worked together at WCLT Radio (certainly not the highlight of our careers I would tell him :) 10+ years ago and he was always accessible to the station and also very passionate about radio. He even did some electrical work at my house and worked on my home computer a couple times. Just a great man! I'm really sorry to hear this...

I am so sorry and shocked to hear of Andrew's passing. I too am an amateur radio operator in Columbus,Ohio, and that is how I knew him. He gave me advice from time to time,he will be missed and I am so sorry for your great loss, I lost an adult child also, so my heart grieves with you! May God comfort you now as only He can.

The world has suffered a great loss with the passing of Andy. He was a very creative genius, a kind person, and a person who would act upon his ideas by implementing them into reality. I have known Andy for many years and will miss the very in depth computer, science, and political conversations we had. Andy had such a great diversity of knowledge that the conversation could go in any direction and he would have something interesting to say. He will be greatly missed in heart and mind. My condolences to his family.

Andy ... You must have been a very smart young man and you were certainly respected and loved by so many people, locally and far away. We admired your hard work ethic and it was a privilege to be your neighbor for so many years. I met Andrew about a year ago through Amateur Radio and we had a lot of conversations. He was very gifted and knowledgeable . He was taken way too soon. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family, the radio will be a lot quieter place without him. He is and shall always be missed.

Saddened by the News, Andrew was a very smart man and he could fix almost anything. Cherish the Time I spent with him in his Ham Room, At the Drilling Rig site or in his Garage. I was blessed to have Andrew as a Friend and he will be Missed. My Condolences to his Family and Friends.
