Betty Roach Obituary

DECATUR - Betty Jean Roach, 61, of Theodosia, Mo., formerly of Decatur, passed away Thursday (Feb. 26, 2009). Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace Baptist Church. Betty was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Charleston, S.C. She was a lifelong waitress until a heart attack forced her into retirement in December 1997. She last worked at Gabby's Restaurant. Surviving are her husband, Donald; children, Donna (Robert) Spiker of Lincoln; Michael (Beth) Roach, Timothy Roach and Daniel (Amanda) Roach, all of Decatur; grandchildren, Darren, Christen, Dillon and Derrick Spiker; Nicholas Roach, Isabella Jean Roach; stepgrandchildren, Eric Mullins; Jordan, Courtney and Hope Cuttill.
