I'll miss . . .
* our several-times-a-week phone calls to check-up on each other!
*commiserating, in a ligh-hearted manner, about our current "we're- getting-older" ails, aches & pains
*discussing/comparing our most recent "gout bouts!"
*discussing our "current cure regimens" which included, of course, our heart medicine (red wine!)
*laughing at us and, of course, at each other!
*annoying others with our "potty talk!"
*egging each other on to "top the last potty story!"
*chatting about how we aggravate our mates & what we should do about it (but usually did nothing)
*talking about how we thought WE were the "Saints" in our relationships, but knew we weren't (well, we did agree that Jeannine IS a "saint!")
*playing cards into the wee hours of the morning with constant verbal bantering that drove our partners nuts!
*the great dinner parties with great friends and great social intercourse!
*sharing each others' "reviews" of the lastest movies seen or novels read
*how, at times, I'd aggravate you and/or you'd aggravate me . . .but we'd finally "get over it" & toast each other with more "heart medicine!"
*yes, I'll miss my good friend, ol' Larry the most!

Jeannine-
It's been a long time since I have visited with Larry. He was a special guy I have thought about a number of times since I retired. Somehow, I have always thought of me being a friend of both you and Larry. You and I worked together with your "kids." Larry always seemed to be involved, not only with the ranch kids, but CINC kids, or, at least your work. I have missed you both and am glad I got to see you a couple of weeks ago at the anniversay party at Juvenile Court. Carmen and I will be praying for you and the rest of your family for comfort and care in your painful times and for healthy movement on in life.

Jannine, I am saddened to hear of your loss. It seems like just a few weeks ago I spotted Larry at Community theater but did not have an opportunity to speak. I have fond memories of Larry on stage, as well as of both of you at work.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Jeannine and Kit -
I am so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. I've missed talking with him since I've moved. He used to call almost every Thursday afternoon to catch me up on his week and to ask about mine. You were both the objects of many of those conversations. He spoke frequently of how much you both meant to him and how lucky he was to have you in his life.
I won't be able to make it to the celebration of Larry's life but I will be thinking of him, and of you.
He was a good man, and I shall miss him.
In deepest sympathy,
Scott

I have so many wonderful memories of my dear friend Larry. I am so grateful for his visit to the East Coast the year before last and our adventures in New York City, Washington, and Philadelphia. When I worked at the Juvenile Detention Facility in Wichita, Larry was my comic relief, confidant, and he helped to keep me sane in some pretty tough circumstances. I am also grateful for my visit to Larry and Jeannine's lovely new home this past Spring. Jeannine, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
With much love,
Kenny
