Grandmother, some of my most cherished memories are of the summers that we spent together with Aunt Barbara in Madisonville, especially the summer nights. Brian and I would always sleep upstairs with you. I remember that you had the softest satin pillow cases. I loved those, still do. :) We would always sleep with the windows open. You could hear the train whistles in the distance and the crickets and frogs outside. Every time i hear those sounds today, it takes me back to that carefree time in my life. I love you Grandmother & I will miss you so much! Jenna

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Cornett but I do know her son, Darrell. He was my boss for many years and one of the finest men I have ever known. I know Mrs. Cornett must have been a special person because of the love and values she taught her son. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. May you have peace. God bless.

I Love you Grandmother and will miss you greatly! I'll never forget our 'Campfire' we built on the back porch of the old house. I still say it looked like a police car coming up the road and not a taxi cab!

Tommie was such a wonderful person. Our days at Powell's 5&10 were some of the best memories I have. She was always very wise and loving to all of us that worked there. She will forever have a special place in my heart.
