Dear Carol and family,
It was such a pleasure to be part of Irene's life. She was a treasure and I loved the special connection we shared. It was sad to watch her fade away, but she never lost that sparkle. It's lonesome without her, but I know she would be the first to encourage everyone to cheer up and carry on. God broke our hearts when He took your mom from us, but I rejoice that her suffering is over and Irene is in the Savior's arms. I look forward to seeing my dear friend again someday. Thank you for all your kindness over the years and sharing your mom with us.

Grandma Eberhart was a very special lady! Loved by so many people, she was always willing to help anyone. I can't believe she let me go to her house after school to practice the piano when I was little. She must have had earplugs for those days. She was a great lady and will be greatly missed. A wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandma, adopted grandma - she filled all the roles and she did it with a smile:-) John, Carol, Bev, Liz, Jenny, Shelly, Gregg & Scooter - you are all in our thoughts & prayers, you were truly blessed to have such a great lady in your family. Love - Sandy, Tom & boys

Irene was a wonderful lady. I have several great memories. She could take a piece of fabric and magically turn it into whatever she wanted. She let my kids call her Grandma, Melissa called her Grandma Heart, I loved that. Heaven has gained another angel. May God bless Grandma Hearts family with comfort and great memories.
