Janice Marie Altmiller, 52, of Lincoln Borough, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born October 4, 1963 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Katherine S. "Kay" Anthony Coulter Resh of Elizabeth Township and the late Edwin D. Coulter, Sr. Janice was a Registered Nurse and had worked for Forbes Regional, Jefferson Medical Center and UPMC McKeesport Hospitals. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Heather Anna Altmiller and Katherine "Katie" Anna Polakovic of Lincoln Borough, her son, John H. (Kira) Altmiller of Elizabeth Township, brother, Edwin D. Coulter, Jr., of Lincoln Borough, sister, Jennifer M. Gault of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Chaellen Rayne and Starrlyn Janice Altmiller, step-mother, Jewell Coulter and step-father, Thomas Resh of Elizabeth Township, nephews, Casey (Kristen) Coulter and Andrew Gault, great-niece, Aralyn Banks and great-nephew, Jayden Coulter. Friends are welcome Sunday, May 15 from 3-6 pm. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (Drew J. Gilbert-Director). Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, May 15, at 6:00 pm with The Rev. Jody Dausey, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite Charity.
