I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Frank's passing. He was a great man and was fun to talk to. I remember how I always found his accent funny. But, the one piece of advice he gave me, was to start with reading business section first. I Still do that to this day. He will be sorrowfully missed. May you rest in peace Uncle Frank.

Dear Family of Mr. Christopher,
I think Mr. Christopher has probably taken a majority of Allentown High School graduates' yearbook photographs. An excellent photographer! His photos have lined our family home for decades. May this small memory help celebrate his life. Thanks for the memories. RIP

Dear DeChristopher Family,

We are truly saddened to hear of the recent passing of Frank. He took my First Communion, High School graduation and family portrait many years ago!He was truly a master of his craft in a world long before digital pictures and photo cropping software technology! In our family portrait, I was about 19 years old and had many pimples for sure! When we received the finished portrait, my face was unblemished! It is a masterpiece in quality! I have attached this portrait in tribute to the greatest portrait photographer the City of Allentown ever had! I also am a member of the Cathedral and miss seeing him usher Sunday Mass. He was a dapper gentleman and we will keep Frank and his family in our thoughts and prayers! Allentown lost a legend!

Sincerely,
Pat Larrea & Family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mr. DeChristopher was such a great man. I have many memories of going down to his studio for our yearly Christmas Card. he had to make eight children plus one mother all look in the same direction with a smile on their face---and he did it in his own special way.

He will be missed by many. God Bless

Frank was one of a kind! Excellent photographer but he always knew how to bring out the best in you! I loved going to the Cathedral when he was an usher! You got the very best seat! He also always dressed for God! He made each mass look like it was...your true meeting with Christ! There will never be another Frank! His class, style and also reverence to God always made me feel like "Frank knew The Guy!"
I just hope he is saving me a good seat in heaven! ( he's probably arranging some great photo shoots up there and smiling at so many who are not there! Love you Frank, always!

Mr. DeChristopher photographed my brother and I in the mid-1950's, and he also did my wedding portrait in 1969. I still remember going to his studio, which seemed magical. His genius will live on through the beautiful portraits he did and the memories he created for many generations. A life well lived.

Dear Aunt Valrey, and family , I have so many fond memories of Uncle Frank growing up . He was always interested in what was going on in your life and encouraged you to do your best and gave great advice . He had such an outgoing personality that wherever he went someone knew him . We had wonderful family holidays , picnics together and he would share stories ending in lots of laughter. He was the life of the party . We would drop by the studio and he would always greet you with a smile . He was one of a kind ! I am sure he is at the pearly gates seeing all the people who left before him with lots of stories and laughter. He will be missed . Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone .

Sorry for your loss, DeChristopher family. It's neat to see the various ways which "Daddy D's" many artistic abilities flow and live on, throughout all of you. He was always in high spirits, anytime I encountered him, (and it doesn't seem like all that long ago we were all having a blast together in his backyard pool). Your family is in our prayers, as you mourn his passing and celebrate his life. We love you all.
