I met Chris briefly, but know what a true and loyal friend she was to Jan.
What a brave woman!
Wishing strength and good memories to her family and friends.

Chris's Family..
I graduated with Chris and we were Facebook friends. I will surely miss the photos she shared of her sweet grand babies. She could make a grey day shine like no other.
Until we meet again sweet Chris. RIP

She was one of a kind. The lady had grace and such courage. She loved ferociously and was loved. She will be missed.

Patterson Family,
I was in the SGHS class of 72 with Chris. She was a beautiful girl and always so kind to me during those days. I did not, however, have the privilege of knowing her after high school but I am sure all the comments here are true. It is great to know that she is in Heaven with our Lord and Saviour. God bless your family and friends during this time of sadness.

Wow, Patterson 's and Don's family. Isn't our God a great God! He knows exactly when to step in and take control. Chris had her earthy time to bless all of us and now she is being blessed by her heavenly Father. I thank God for knowing Chris and all her family. Thank you, Don, Richie and Blair, as well as, others who allowed me to be a part of your family. God bless. Randy Willeford

Ronnie and I are truly blessed in knowing your family. Chris opened up your home to us when I began serving Trinity in Fairfield. Over the years, not only were you a part of the congregation, but you also became family. The times and the fun we had when we were all together. Ronnie thought the world of all of you. He was loved by Chris. She knew how to handle such a special little boy, since she had two of her own. I appreciate all that she and
your family did to make us feel a part of the congregation. Chris was always sharing her love for Jesus and her church. I appreciate her strong Lutheran up brining. She knew and lived what she was taught from Scripture and the catechism. We had some great discussions. She, as well as your family, was my friend. We were able to keep in touch during the years. I thank God that HE allowed us to meet and to share HIS love. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless and remember the Words of Jesus Who said..."I am the Resurrection and the Life, he who believes in ME will never die." Through the waters of Holy Baptism, Christ made Chris HIS child. Blessings. Pastor and Ronnie Bagwell

I pray for all of you and her friends that have loved her. She is now in the arms of our Lord feeling wonderful and waiting on the day we will meet again. Chris loved Jesus and would want all to come to know Him personally. If you believe you have confidence in the Great Reunion. I am so sorry for the loss of a great girl.

Dear Don and family,
Even as we grieve with you because of our loss, yet we join you to receive comfort from Jesus! Chris, a daughter of the King, has taken her place before God's throne of glory. Stay strong in Jesus and look forward to the blessed reunion some day of all who believe in Jesus as their Savior.
Peace in Jesus, Pastor John Hering
