Deborah "Deb" Jolain Doyle, 72, of Bemidji, MN, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 29, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Deb was born on March 26, 1953, to John and Marilyn Workman. She grew up in Bemidji and graduated from Bemidji High School in 1971. Shortly after graduation, she married Michael Doyle, and together they started a family that became the center of Deb's world. Her greatest joy in life came from being a mother and grandmother, and she devoted herself fully to creating a home filled with love, laughter, and kindness.

Later, Deb attended Northwest Technical College and earned her nursing degree. She spent the majority of her career at Havenwood Care Center, where she was known for her compassion, dedication, and the way she treated every patient like family. Nursing was not just a career to Deb; it was an extension of her natural gift for caring for others.

Deb had a generous heart and a gift for making everyone feel special. She was the most positive, kind, and selfless mom and grandma, always putting her kids and grandkids first. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she loved every moment she could spend with them, from everyday hugs to special celebrations.

Outside of her family and career, Deb enjoyed many hobbies that brought her happiness. She loved playing cards with friends, baking treats that filled her home with warmth, and spending hours crafting, sewing, knitting, and crocheting gifts for loved ones. She also loved fishing whenever she had the chance and the occasional visit to the casino, where she was always hopeful for a bit of luck.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Workman.

Deb is survived by her sons, Jason Doyle (son Dylan) and Nick Doyle (children Annika, Leksi, and Boden); her husband, Michael Doyle; her mother, Marilyn Workman; her brothers, Johnny, Jim, and Jeff; her sister, Trudy; and many extended family members and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to a short service. Interment will take place at Trinity Lutheran Pony Lake Cemetery in Bemidji, MN, under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home. A celebration of life will follow at the Eagles Club.

Deb will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she poured into her family and friends. She had a way of lighting up a room with her kindness, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. Her legacy will live on in the lives of those she touched, and her memory will forever be carried in the hearts of those who loved her.
