Brian Wanek (aka Squirrel), age 57, of Bemidji, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo surrounded by friends, his mom and brother.
Brian enjoyed spending time with the club, his brother, and his friends and having a laugh or telling a story. His hope was to be free of his medical issues so he could get back to doing the things he loved like working for the ambulance service, fishing, hunting, playing guitar and riding his bike.
He is preceded in death by his father Wally Wanek, and his favorite dogs Pugsley and Wilbur. He is survived by his mother Barbara, sister Tess and brother Brad.
