Norman E.A. Mackie

Norman Emil Arvid Mackie of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; passed away October 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Norman was the loving husband of the late Alma for 69 years; the devoted father of Lori Mackie, the late Carol Barlow, and the late Norman Mackie Jr.; the adored grandfather of Amanda (Daniel) Fischer, Travis (Kayla Hubbard) Mackie, Laura Barlow, John Michael (Alexandra) Barlow, Thomas Smith, and Casey Mackie; and the dear great grandPapa of Quinn, Sean, and Milo. Norman is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Norman was the owner and founder of his company Superior Plastic Inc., in 1968 as an automotive business supplier in Hazel Park, Michigan until moving his business operation in 1972 to Rochester, Michigan. Norman was avid golfer and life member at Red Run Golf Club, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was a veteran serving in the United States Army and a member of the Fraternal Order of Elks.
Norman's family will receive friends for visitation on Friday October 17th, 2025 from 11 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road (3 blocks East of Van Dyke, on the north side of M-59), Utica, Michigan.
