Mom,
I am sending this message to you after-the-fact that you were so very unexpectedly taken from us; but I needed you to know how important you were to me all of my life. You sacrificed so much of your time in helping me through all my life's obstacles. You always made sure to ask "Are you alright? Is there anything you need help with? Are you sure? You were the one that got my bike back from the kid who stole it from the store when I was six yrs old---by combing the neighborhood apartments we used to live in and found the culprit. You went right up to the kid pointed your finger in his face and demanded the bike back with a certain "don't even try me kid" look on your face. You were the one who loved me no matter what.
You showed me Yosemite, Maui, Santa Cruz, Lake Tahoe when I was in my teens and twenties, and many other states when I was just a little boy....and I know you wanted to show me the Crescent City/Brookings area but I kept putting it off. I truly regret that now. I am choosing to think that you now own that bait shop on that very dear lake you always wanted to live on in your dreams for happiness...now you needn't be asleep to see it for now and forever. Until we meet again - I Love You and will miss you so very much!
Your much appreciative son,
Jeff

Dear Jim, Jeff, & Jon,
Even though we have been out of touch for a few years, we were very sorry to hear of Judy's passing. Looking back over the years we had together at St. Peter's and remembering all the basketball games we attended to watch our son's play, brings back a lot of beautiful memories. She was a wonderful woman and a very dear friend of our daughter Sheri.
Our prayers are with all of you at this time. One thing you can be sure of is that when Judy entered heaven's gates, the Saints were all rejoicing.
