Eleanor Labo Obituary

Eleanor 'Ellie' Labo resident of Tewksbury since 1956 TEWKSBURY Eleanor E. "Ellie" (Martin) Labo, age 81, passed away peacefully Friday night, October 17, at her Tewksbury home, after a long illness. She was the wife of Thomas J. Labo, with whom she had celebrated a 59th wedding anniversary this past June 29th. She was born in Cambridge on May 28, 1927, a daughter of the late David and Ethel Martin, and was raised in Arlington. She graduated from Arlington High School. She moved to Tewksbury in 1956. Her family stated, "we are very thankful for the way she has blessed all our hearts and lives with her loving smile." Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Michael Silvestri of Tewksbury; three sons and their spouses, Thomas and Dyann Labo of CO, Fred and Barbara Labo of PA, Steve and Shirley Labo (Shedd) of No. Reading; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Norman "Bud" Martin and Warren Martin, both of Woburn, Alan Martin of CA; and many nieces and nephews. She was also grandmother of the late Jackie Labo; and sister of the late Donald and David Martin. LABO of Tewksbury, formerly of Arlington, Oct. 17. Eleanor E. "Ellie" (Martin) Labo, age 81. Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday evening, Oct. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey and Main Sts. (Rte. 38), TEWKSBURY CENTER, phone (800 in MA or 978) 851-2950. At her request, all other services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of donor's choice will be appreciated. tewksburyfuneralhome.com
