Laurie, Ben and Pudgy, I still can't believe that this has happend. Laurie my dearest friend, God obviously knows you are a strong, strong woman and has taken this path for your family. My heart goes out to you and know that I am always here for you. I knew there was a reason Pudge brought you to Maine, I just didnt know it was this. Ben, as you know, your Dad was an incredible man and will be greatly miss by all of us. I know you will continue to make him proud as you always did. "Benjiboy", you have big shoes to fill now, but I know your dad knew you could do it. I know you will take great care of mom just as he would have wanted you to.
And to pudge, my redheaded friend, you will be greatly missed. No more teasing and joking and "Hey Kel" will I ever hear from that jolly deep voice. That I will miss the most. I hope you are up there having the time of your life and playing in the greatest band that you always talked about. Save room for me, don't forget, you promised me I could be the singer!!!
You will never be forgotten in the lives of me and my family.
Good bye dear friend.

To the Carlson family. I am deeply saddened and still struggle with reality of Davids passing. I reflect on my many childhood memories of family get togethers with my northern cousins. I am proud to have known David. Such a wonderful personality. He definately traveled the path less chosen and I admire him for that. He was a good man with a huge heart. I will miss him. I love and pray for you all. Your southern family.

Dave (the Toad) will be missed deeply. I loved his constant teasing and wonderful sense of humor as well as his brilliant mind and love for his family. He brought so much to this world and we are all better for having had the time with him we were fortunate enough to have had. We will miss you and will always share great stories of our time with you. Love you! Lori Robin

To the family of our dear friend Dave.....our hearts are hurting as yours are today for a wonderful friend, father, husband and co worker. I worked with Dave and knew him to be fun loving and just on heck of a great guy, who loved his family and friends with great passion. the world is a much sadder place now because his laughter will not embrace it. With all our love and condolences.

Such a sad thing. I haven't seen David in years, but I remember when he passed along his electric guitar to my brother. Such generous support of a fellow musician. I'm sure there are many such memories, and I hope they offer comfort at this time.
