Explosion kills at least 7 people in eastern China…
An explosion Thursday, June 15, 2017, near a kindergarten in China’s eastern Jiangsu Province has killed at least seven people and injured 59, according to Fengxian County government officials.
Chinese media reported multiple deaths, and posts of videos on social media showed children and adults lying on the ground.
The Xinhua News Agency reported that the emergency office of Xuzhou city said the explosion occurred at the kindergarten gate just as children were leaving the school in the afternoon.
Officials also said the cause of the blast is under investigation.
