Luisa was a wonderfully special lady and a special friend to my father. I will miss her and her humor greatly. My family will start the tradition Luisa shared with my Father of eating 12 grapes in one minute at midnight on New Years Eve. We might even peel them as she did.

Luisa was a transparent soul who was always her wonderful unique self. Over the many years I worked with Luisa, she brought joy to the workplace. After she retired, she kept in touch and always brought a laugh with her, even if it was a laugh at herself. I will miss her. My thoughts go out to her family and the group of friends who were especially dear to Luisa.

I was sadden to hear the news about Lusia. I remember visiting her many times at D.H. Hill when I would visit her colleagues. She would help me with my Spanish. I know her friends from the library will miss her dearly. I remember hearing about their last trip to Spain.

Regards,
