Mrs Sinkovitz, We have never met, but I had the pleasure of meeting Coach "Sink" during the first and second seasons of Methodist Football. He was a very influential mentor to my son. My son graduated from Methodist a very confused young man who didn't know what he really wanted to do in life. Coach "Sink" got him his first Graduate Assistant job at UW-Stout. Rob obtained his Master's and went on to South Dakota to get his Doctorate. He is now Director of Athletics at Concordia University in Wisconsin. This opportunity would never had been possible if not for your husband's belief in him. He will never be forgotten in our family. May God bless you and your family.

I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to meet Mike at the Team 162 Reunion in Fayetteville. I was honored that he approved me as a member, and made me feel so welcome as I sought information about my late father, who was also a Red Hat. God grant him rest and comfort his family.

Karen, Sarge has done so much for me, as no one else ever before . As he was a role model for many of us, he will stay forever not only in our memories, but in our actions as well, as all those who were fortunate to know him changed for the better. Everything I accomplished in the past 8 years was made possible in a large part due to his support.

Sarge,
You were a great influence as I began my officer career and a true friend to our family. It was your words and deeds that motivated me to become an Infantry, airborne ranger. And I credit you with teaching me the intracies of land navigation, small unit tactics, leadership, rappelling, drownproofing, rife marksmanship just to name a few. The fact that I went on from the Upper Iowa ROTC program to command troops from platoon through division level would not have happened without your sage advice and influenece. Sher, Jennifer and I will always remember your helpful and kind ways. You will rest in Hallowed ground with all your soldier comrades in Arlington Cemetary - and I am proud that my former Regimental Command, the 3d Infantry will be the soldiers who will stand your final formation.
