Dear Andrew and family,
Our hearts go out to you at the loss of your beloved dad. Though we only met him a couple of times, it was evident how proud he was of you. He had a certain sparkle in his eyes and seemed genuinely happy to meet us; I am sure he made everyone feel that way. May you find comfort in the memories and the cherished times you shared. May the Lord grant you peace during this time of extreme sadness. God bless you, your mom, sisters, and all the rest of the family.
With our thoughts and prayers,
Alfred,Pat,Dominic,and Daniel de Luna

I am just shocked to hear such sad news. My heart hurts for you and your children.
We have great memories of our time living across the street from you on Vassar Street. Alex's love for his family, his horses and his work always a priority. Always the life of the party. Remember the Lone Ranger mask, hat & guns and Alex running his white horse down the road yelling 'Hi Ho Silver Away'. I think I still have the list of wine recommendations that he gave me. Lamb roasts in your back yard, Christmas breakfast in our pajamas - good food, good wine, good friends, good times.
May God wrap his loving arms around you and help you find peace and comfort in remembering all the great memories you have shared with each other.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Lynn & Steve

I can't begin to express how sorry I am that the patriarch of such an impressive family is gone so soon. He was full of life and always seemed to be smiling or telling some funny story. I continue to pray for the family and Mr. K. and hope that everyone is able to find peace after this terrible situation.

What a joy to experience a room lit up with the buzz that Alex Karnavas brought to it. A true life of the party, Alex lived life in a BIG way, some would call it a "Mr. Big" way. It was my pleasure to not only know Alex, but to know the entire Karnavas family, a close knit crew who's love and care for each other is contagious, all influenced by the support and encouragement for their father. Alex, we will all miss you. I bet you're already serving wine and food to your friends in heaven.

Mr. Karnavas, Alex, was such a great person to be around. Not only did I have the pleasure to get to know him, but I got to witness the amazing relationship between a father and his son. I'll never forget the smile he would get, when he would be telling me a story or when we would talk about cooking. Alex was full of passion and never short of words. So many good times were spent with him while he visited his son Andrew, here in Houston. Spending time with both Alex and Andrew were always memorable and I'm thankful that I got to do that.
Wishing all my best to the family.
