To the Warren Family, I saw Dawson in May at our Senior Class reunion at Donald Crockett's home and it was so good to see him as I had not been privileged to see him since my high school days. When he saw me he came over and gave me a hug and I told him that his class had prepared me for things that I would face in later life and that he ruined my handwriting for good trying to take all the notes he gave us in class. We both had a great laugh about that. Condolences to your family on a great man with character and integrity.

Mrs. Warren, I enjoyed working with your husband as he substituted at Midway. Your husband was very kind and professional. When he announced that he was going to retire from substituting, I wanted to throw him a party for all the work and dedication he had given to the job. May God bless and hold you during this time. Dear Betty, It has been such a nice pleasure to know you and Dawson through our Mended Hearts Chapter at Providence Hospital. It touches us deeply to lose such a good friend! Our comfort comes from knowing that our Lord Jesus died and rose for us,the bonds of death have been conquered so that when life on this earth ends, we will live with our Lord Jesus forever. We pray that the hope of the resurretion will bring you and your family comfort in the quite hours of your anguish.

Dearest Betty and family, our prayers are with you more at this particular time due to Dawson's unexpected passing. We pray for strength and peace for you, your sons and their families at this time remembering the good, fun and happy times we had together at La Vega High School. Some of our fondest memories were the visits to you and Dawson's apartment for snacks and sometimes just a fun time. He was our Homeroom teacher for the graduating class of 1956. Betty, we are proud and pleased to have had you and Dawson in our lives and he will truly be missed. Please give us a call if there is anything you might need.
