Ralph Conklin Obituary
Born in Newark, Mr. Conklin was a lifelong resident of Bloomingdale. He was a truck driver.
Arrangements are by the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains.
Mr. Conklin is survived by his wife, the former Beverly Speaker; his daughter, Kelly Gieger; his brother, Edward; and his grandchildren, Ashlee and Dylan Gieger.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Jane.

8 months today Daddy. I miss you so incredibly much. You were my hero, my ally, my heart, my biggest supporter. I love you so much, I hope you're proud of me. Daddy, not a day goes by that I don't miss you. I miss your phone calls, I miss your hugs, I miss everything. It's been four months and 5 days since you had a stroke. It's coming up on the four month anniversary of your passing. It is been extremely difficult, I love you with all my heart Daddy. Please keep watching over Mommy. My heart broke in two when I heard about your dad's passing. I remember sitting at the baseball games listening to the stories you would tell about your mom and dad and hearing the love in your voice when you told them. He knew how much you all loved him and he knows how much you miss him. He will always be by your side watching over you! You have a special guardian angel now! Just believe and have faith that this horrible pain will subside but the love will be in your heart forever!

What a great man Ralph was! He always had a story to tell, a kind word about someone, all told with such vitality! And the cars! Whenever Michael and I were thinking of buying a new car we would always say "maybe we should call Ralph!" He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. For all the fond memories we will cherish in our hearts forever of you....you and my daddy were best friends for over 40 years...I am so thankful for that since it brought Kelly and me to together enough to call each other sisters. You touched everyone's heart with your witty happy attitude that we all loved so much!
