I grew up in Spring Hill Manor in Mobile with Judy. I knew her mother, father, and grandparents who lived nearby. She was a good friend. She taught school at Lanier with my Aunt.. Buddy Steele

Señora Pratt was a beautifully compassionate and wholehearted teacher. She dared to bring herself to the classroom and related to her students like actual people with unique interests, ideas, and proclivities. She kept in touch with me throughout college and I am so thankful for her consistent support and encouragement. May she rest well.

Mrs. Pratt was that special teacher that you never wanted to disappoint. We always felt her love for Spanish in class. I was always lucky to run into Mrs. Pratt when I was in Montgomery. Although I felt like that kid in her class, she treated me like a friend catching up on the family. Mrs. Pratt will surely be missed by all. May your wonderful memories bring you peace and comfort.

Mrs Pratt attempted to teach me Spanish for 2 years and psychology. Class of 1985 Lanier. She made it comfortable in class to blubber in any language. Praying for her sweet family.

Mrs. Pratt was my teacher and counselor at St. James. I loved being an office assistant for her during my senior year. She was always so kind, positive, and encouraging. My prayers are for the family at this time.

I've always wondered about her since I graduated Lanier in 1971. She was the most amazing Spanish Teacher . Sad to hear this .

Judy was that rare individual who combined a sharp mind with a kind heart. She never gave unsolicited advice, but when asked, her reply was always, as someone said, "light but profound." Her gift for analysis and her insight into the human condition made her the perfect confidant. i will miss her more than any words I can find. Godspeed, Judy!
