My condolences to the family of James G. Krok
It was a pleasure working with Jim as he performed his duties on the 4 Stand Cold Roll Tandem Mill and as a crane man in the South Cold Reduction Department of the Sheet Mill in Gary Works.
Whatever assignments he was working it was always at 100%. It was at our retirement breakfasts that we could dismantle from our work habits and indulge in the stage of retirement living. But it never failed, the subject matter always came back to working and the many stories we could all engage in. The good times and the rough times are always good to reminess.
It was during these breakfast get-to-gethers that we became e-mail corresponders. I will miss him.
He was a joy to be around and he will be missed.

Krok family,
I am sorry to say that I did not know your James, but I did read that he was a veteran of the Vietnam War...and we Vietnam veterans have have a special bond with one another. There is no greater honor than to serve your country at a trime of war. James made many sacrifices, I know, and I want to thank him for serving our country.
WE COME NOT TO MOURN OUR DEAD SOLDIERS, BUT TO PRAISE THEM -Francis Walker-
On behalf of a grateful nation, as an expression of appreciation for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one, I salute you Brother James. May your memories of James soothe you, your friends comfort you, and your family's strength help your hearts begin to heal. May the blove you shared sustain you through this time of sorrow. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

My thoughts and prayers will be with your family. It's been many years since we've talked, but I still have many fond memories of the times our families spent together. I remember going downstairs for a haircut and if it was summer we kids always ended up in the pool. I remember that car was always kept in showroom quality! God bless
