George was a best friend to anyone who knew him. As his teammate many times in the weekly Retired Educators Golf Association tournament, I can affirm that he didn't have an angry bone in his body. George was a loving - caring - talented - intelligent - steady man. A gentleman's gentleman. A model to emulate. He will be sorely missed.

Jeanne; I was so very sorry to read about George's passing. He was a very special man and all who knew him felt the same. My memories of him go back to 1946 when we worked together on the San Diego State College associated student body council. He was a great leader and friend. Most sincerely, Janet Schmetzer Julien
