I met Travis in 2002 when I first moved back to Alaska. In true Travis fashion the way he introduced himself to me was hilarious and it won me over. We were very close for a long time and shared many details of our lives with each other, including our dreams and goals. He adored his family and was always quick to brag about his sisters. As the years went by we grew apart but we always managed to talk on our birthdays. We were both January babies and it was our chance to catch up with each other. I will truly miss him and I am so sorry for your loss. RIP my friend.. until we meet again!

May god be with you during this time. I'm in shock....Travis and I were friends, I moved from Anchorage and we kept in contact but slowly fell out of touch...I am so sorry, he spoke of his family often and only out of love. He will be missed

I want you to know Ann, Tennille, & Tiffany that even though we don't talk often or rarely see each other, that I think of you each everyday and know you are hurting now, but it will get better. I enjoyed my talks with Travis and listening to him. He always ended with "Thanks for listening Sis, love you". You should be proud of who he was and what he accomplished in his short life. I, too, will miss him.

I only knew Travis in high school but I have thought of him many times since for one reason alone. Travis had heart. I wasn't a close friend but his example has stuck with me throughout the years and has been a motivation for me in times of doubt. God's speed Travis.

At the darkest time in my life, Travis could always make me smile. Sometimes, a hug from him was the only thing that kept me above water. I pray for his family's loss, for it is great, but I know that Travis's sweet soul is free now from the pain his injuries brought him. I will miss you, you sweet man.

To Ann, Tennille and Tiffany,

Jennifer and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you. It was such a shock to hear the sad news. We hope that your memories of Travis will bring you comfort and peace as you deal with this sad loss. I can still vividly remember Travis being the life and sole of his visit to Ireland but especially the day in Bunratty Folk Park. He had such a buzz about him that it's hard to imagine he died so young. He will be sadly missed by you, his family and friends.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I will be eternally grateful to Travis. I had an adolescent daughter who Travis worked with while on an a ankle monitor. Although she continued to make really bad choices, he saw deep inside she was a good person. He set very firm boundaries and enforced them with unconditional love and support. Because Travis did not give up on her when everyone else had, my daughter is now a wonderful mother making positive choices for herself and children. My family would like to express their condolences to the Wilson family at this most difficult time. I am confident that Travis made THE difference in many other lives as well.
